For this stamp release I wanted to try something other than cards. I got the idea to make bookmarks because of how much reading my friend does in their spare time. These bookmarks were so fun and simple to make, I plan on making several more! The stamp set I used was ‘Size Doesn’t Matter’ and I am very excited to show off the new set and what I made today!
For my first bookmarks I decided to keep the background simple and white (maybe next time I will get more adventurous with the background). This lets the characters and sentiments pop more. To make the bookmark I took a normal 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet of 80 lb Neenah paper and cut it into 5 81/2″ x 2″ bookmarks.
I picked out a character then found a sentiment that I liked related to each character. After coloring in the characters I decided to laminate the bookmark then cut it out. This will help it last over the years of being used in books and tossed in a bag.

Love making bookmarks. Yours are perfect. Now I have something else to make when I get this set!
I can never have enough book marks! Love the clean and simple design…and that ‘adwarfable’….ha! 😉
What a great idea! Very simle and fun! Great gift idea!
Your bookmarks and the name of the stamp set, made me realize that when you are a bibliophile “size doesn’t matter”. I’ll have to make my own bookmark with that text stamp.
Nice and simple, great gift!
Fun bookmarks! They would be something to treasure for sure. 😊
Those are fun bookmarks! The kind that you would miss if you lost it 🙂

This fandom has a huge impact in my life after receiving the books from my late uncle, so I was very excited for this set. I see bookmarks being made in my future as my oldest has been begging to borrow my book set. Thanks for the inspiration, Molly!
This just happens to be my BIL’s favorite book.. I think I know what I’ll be giving him!!! Stunning.
I think I might have to steal this idea when it’s my turn to host book club!
You can never have too many book – marks.
These bookmarks are so precious! What a great gift and fun project!
